About the tour
The Salt Cathedral is a church built underground made of salt, considered the first wonder of Colombia, and the Guatavita Lagoon, the place where the indigenous people used to throw gold because according to them this was the heart of mother earth. Don't miss these two places on a 1-day tour from Bogotá.
Itinerary
We will pick you up at your hotel or your location in an time between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm, we will drive 1 hour to the town of Guatavita, there we will do a walk around the town and we will go to the Guatavita Lagoon, there will be a 2-hour tour around the lagoon and then we will go to Zipaquirá, we will do a walk around the town of Zipaquirá and then arrive at the Salt Cathedral, at the end of the tour in this Underground Salt Church we will return to Bogotá and leave you at your hotel or destination.
