About the tour
The Tequendama waterfall is a natural waterfall, located approximately 30 kilometers southwest of Bogotá. It has a total height of 157 meters. According to the Muisca myth, it was formed by the divine action of Bochica, a god or a civilizing hero. According to mythical tradition, he affirms that he created the Tequendama waterfall with an accurate blow from his staff to evacuate the waters that flooded the Bogotá savanna. Nearby you can find restaurants and viewpoints towards the waterfall. In 2014, the Salto del Tequendama Biodiversity and Culture House Museum was inaugurated.
Itinerary
We will pick you up at your hotel or location in an hour between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm, we will drive 1 hour to the Tequendama waterfall where you can observe the natural wonder from the viewpoint. You'll have time to enjoy the scene and have a lunch and then we will return to Bogota and leave you at your hotel or destination
